Ethiopian Airline Retrieves Black Box of Crashed Airplane

Investigators who have been on hand since the Ethiopian plane crash en route to Nairobi, have discovered the flight data recorders from an Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed on Sunday, March 10th.

According to reports, the devices recovered at the crash site were the Boeing 737 Max 8’s cockpit voice recorder and digital flight data recorder respectively.

Recall that idonsabi.com reported that the Ethiopian plane was en route from Addis Ababa to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, when it crashed six minutes after take-off, killing all 157 people who were on board including prominent people from different part of the world.

A Report also has it that a lot of airlines have grounded the Boeing model following the disaster which saw 157 losing their lives in the process of the crash.

The Boeing model of the Airplane is known to be just months-old, and it came crashing down near the town of Bishoftu, 60km (37 miles) south-east of the capital at 08:44 local time (05:44 GMT).

As at the time of filing this report, they are yet to detect the cause of the tragic disaster which claimed the lives of 157 individuals.

However, the pilot had earlier reported difficulties and asked to return to Addis Ababa, according to the Ethiopian airline.

The Ethiopian airline CEO, Tewolde Gebremariam said in a statement:

“At this stage, we can’t rule out anything, We can’t also attribute the cause to anything because we’ll have to comply with the international regulation to wait for the investigation”
