Everton Vs Manchester United EPL 21 April Preview

Manchester United will be aiming to keep their top four hopes alive when they take travel to the Goodison Park to take on Everton who have a top seven target of their own.

The Toffees might be occupying ninth place on the log but they are only one point off the top seven, although their main challengers for that spot – Wolves and Watford – have a game in hand.

13 wins, 7 draws and 14 defeats is how they have performed in the league thus far. If Everton are to remain in the mix for a top seven finish they would have to come away with a positive result against Manchester United.

Recent history suggests that it will be a difficult day at the office for Everton defenders. However, they would be hopeful that luck smiles in their direction.

Manchester United

There was a huge turnaround for the Red devils when Ole Gunnar Solskajaer was appointed caretaker manager but they have been pinned down to sixth-place once again after a difficult run and a crashing out of Champions league running this campaign.

Manchester United defeated West Ham last time out in the league by a 2-1 scoreline but it must be pointed out that those two goals could only come from the penalty spot.

United have a rough running considering that they would be locking horns with Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea in their next three making their fixture against the Toffees a must win for the Manchester club.
