Fani-Kayode Claims That Someone Is Making Money from #FreeLeahSharibu Movement

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has claimed that there is a scam operation ongoing in Kaduna state which has led to some people making money from the Leah Sharibu matter.

Sharibu is the remaining Dapchi schoolgirl in Boko Haram’s camp because she refused to deny her Christia faith.

Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan had started a free Leah Sharibu’s movement which is to create awareness about the plight of the young child who has been taking away forcefully from her parents by the insurgents over two years ago.

Fani-Kayode took to his Twitter page to announce that he is still investigating his claim, adding that it’s not connected to what Omokri is doing.

“There is someone that is making money from the Leah Sharibu matter and collecting money from others in her name. This is despicable. Information was passed to me this evening which shocked me. Still doing my research but once I confirm that it is true I will write about it.

“..For the record this has nothing to do with @renoomokri’s #FreeLeahSharibu movement. It is to do with a nasty little Kaduna-based scam operation which needs to be exposed and which I am still investigating. Once I am ready I will expose them. More on this later,” he tweeted.
