– Femi Fani Kayode celebrates Leah Sharibu as she clock 16 years of age in Boko Haram captivity

– He prayed to God to secure her release

Nigerian former Min. for Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode in a latest statement has joined in the celebration of Leah Sharibu’s birthday despite the fact that she is being held as a captive by insurgent group, Boko Haram.

Femi Fani Kayode in his statement stressed that Leah Sharibu is a reference point for courage, strength and faith and a source of inspiration and pride for every Christian believer.

He went ahead to make prayers for her as he called on God to continue to be with her and also grant her freedom from her cruel captors.

Femi Fani Kayode in his statement via Twitter said, “Today is Leah Sharibu’s birthday. She has been held captive by Boko Haram for over 400 days now simply because she has refused to renounce her Christian faith. She is a reference point for courage, strength and faith and a source of inspiration and pride for every believer

May God continue to be with her and may He grant her freedom from her cruel captors. Millions are with you and are praying for you O Daughter of Zion. Blessed are those that are persecuted for their faith. In the fullness of time you shall prevail. Happy birthday Leah Sharibu!”
Also another report made it known that hundreds of people will today storm the Nigerian Mission House in the United Kingdom and the United States for prayer vigil as part of global concern for Leah Sharibu.
Nigerians as well have taken to their social media handles to pray for Leah Sharibu’s release.
Leah Sharibu is one of the abducted 110 girls from her school in Dapchi by insurgent group, Boko Haram.
