Fulham Vs Chelsea EPL 03 March Preview

Chelsea will be looking to prove that they have turned a corner when they go on a trip to Craven Cottage to face a relegation-threatened Fulham.

Chelsea proved once more that they are a force to reckon with in the race for a top four finish when they defeated the Spurs by a comfortable 2-0 scoreline.

Fulham

The Cottagers have just sacked their coach Claudio Ranieri and are desperate to see luck smile on them anytime soon. Ranieri was sacked after 17 games where he was only able to stir Fulham to three wins.

The former Leicester boss and Premier League title winner was brought in to push the Cottagers up the table, but they have found themselves worse than they were when he resumed at the helm of affairs.

Fulham have the worst record in the league on many fronts and it remains unseen how new manager, Scott Parker could bring about an immediate impact on the players against a Big Six club in Chelsea.

The Cottagers have conceded the most goals in the first half (32) and the most in second half (31) in the Premier League this season and simply stand no chance against Chelsea according to bookmakers and tipsters.

Chelsea

The London Blues will be licking their lips at the thought of playing Fulham at this point in the league with other Big Six clubs playing relatively more difficult teams.

Chelsea seem to have turned a corner after an improved display in the EFL Cup finals to Manchester City who they had lost to by a 6-0 scoreline only some days before. Following this, was a domineering display against Pochettino’s Spurs side and a comfortable win over them.

They look the favourites and would have to record a massive scoreline against a lowly Cottagers team to make a statement.
