Gospel Artiste, Tope Alabi Speaks After Being Heavily Criticized Over Her Viral Dance Steps (Video)
A video recently surfaced online showing popular Gospel artiste, Tope Alabi dancing with so much enthusiasm at a party.
Meanwhile, many have reacted to this video as they complained that her dance steps were “too wild for a Gospel Artiste.”
The artiste has now spoken about the issue during a conversation with Wake Up Nigeria on TVC. She explained that she needed that dance at that point because it was her father’s burial and it was her way of praising God.
”It was my father’s burial. I needed that dance. The praise was organized by my Gospel Artiste friends to worship God after the wake keep. I need to worship God, it’s not easy to bury your father. As a spiritual person, you’d know you need that dance,” she explained.
