Gov. Ganduje presents staff of office to two of four Emirs today others to get theirs tomorrow

– Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje is set to present staff of offices to the newly appointed Emirs in Kano state

– This comes after he had handed to them appointment letters against the court order restricting him not to do so

A new report has made it known that the Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje will today present staff of office to the newly appointed Emirs in the state.

The report made it known that two of the four Emirs will get their staff of office today while the remaining two will get theirs tomorrow.

The newly appointed emirs are that of Gaya, Rano, Karaye and Bichi emirates.

Their emirs are Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila for Rano, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya for Gaya, Dr Ibrahim Abubakar ll for Karaye and Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero for Bichi.

Also confirming the latest report was the Kano state Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, who made it known that Gov. Ganduje will visit two of the Emirs today to present their staff of office to them.

Muhammad Garba said, “The governor and his entourage are set to proceed to two out of the four new emirates to present the staff-of-office to the new emirs today.

“And tomorrow Monday, he will lead the entourage to the two remaining emirates to present the staff-of-office to their respective emirs.”

This latest move by the Kano state Governor comes after he had presented appointment letters to the newly appointed Emirs against the court order.

Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje last week established four more Emirates to the one under Emir Mohammad Sanusi II, with this Kano state now has five Emirates.

In another report, Emir Sanusi is expected to return to Nigeria today.
