Gov. Sanwo-Olu appoints Chief of Staff and Deputy
– Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Tayo Ayinde and Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo as Cheif of Staff and Deputy respectively
According to a report, the Lagos state Gov., Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has made two new appointments to his executive body for his new administration.
The new report made it known that Gov. Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Tayo Ayinde and Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo as the new Chief of Staff and Deputy Cheif of staff respectively.
It was disclosed that the new appointments were announced on Friday by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Gov., Mr. Gboyega Akosile.
Records showed that Mr. Tayo Ayinde is an alumnus of Havard Business School, Boston in the United States and University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, he is also an ex-security and intelligence personnel.

Mr. Ayinde served in the post of a chief security detail to the former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from 1999 to 2007. He was also the Director-General of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Group between 2018 and 2019 for the 2019 Governorship election.
On the other hand, the new Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, is a seasoned banker, and has worked in various management capacities between 2005 to 2009; as head of various strategic units.
Prior to the announcement of his new appointment, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo was the Managing Consultant at Cranbrook Financial Consulting Services.
In another report, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commenced work proper and has been moving around to check out some areas in the state.
He has also assured Lagos workers of better days ahead.
One of the latest move by Gov. Sanwo-Olu is the extension of working hours of LASMA officials to 11 PM.
