Zenith Bank Internet Banking offers an instantaneous and convenient way of banking on your own terms; enabling you access your account 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This service is available to all Zenith Bank account holders including corporate and individual account holders.
Customers who use internet banking can preview account balances, check account statements, view and download transaction history for various accounts. In addition, individual account holders may transfer funds and make bills payments but corporate accounts cannot.
How to register for the Internet banking service?
To gain access to this service, you’ll need to fill a form. You can either walk down to any of the branches to obtain and fill the form or download the form from the bank’s website – www.zenithbank.com.
Upon registration, you would be given a token, access code, username and password which you would use to access the internet banking service. The token comes at a fee of 3,500 Naira.
For first time log in, customers must use the account number and password provided in their ‘Internet Banking login activation letter’. The password must then be changed to one known by only the customer. The customer can decide to create their 4-digit PIN required for transaction authorization immediately after first log in or subsequently by clicking ‘Settings’ on the menu, and ‘Create online banking PIN’.
For online fund transfer, Zenith to Zenith transfers incur no charges while Local Money Transfer (LMT) transfer fee is ₦210. A transfer from a Zenith account to other banks will incur NEFT or Interswitch charges depending on the switching platform used to make the transfer.
To make offshore transfers from your internet banking, you’ll need an ordinary domiciliary account. You can transfer funds as often as possible but there is a daily limit of 3 million to any Zenith Bank account and 1 million to other bank accounts.
Personal Internet Banking
This mode of banking enables you to request cheque books, transfer funds between your accounts, pay utility bills and lots more.
Corporate Internet Banking
Corporate internet banking is solely for customers that make frequent local and/or international payments. It is definitely for corporate customers.
With corporate internet banking, you can make transactions and e-payments of all types, monitor trade transactions and administer payroll. You can easily make payments to customers with accounts anywhere in the world, confirm cheques, stop cheques, issue drafts and pay import duty.
Other activities that can be performed through the platform include the following:
- Monitor status of Letters of Credit, Payments, Confirmation and Establishments.
- View and report Multi-Bank Account.
- Online Cheque confirmation.
- Worldwide notification via Email and SMS.
