JAMB registration in Nigeria is always so dynamic. This year though, the whole process has been made very simple. To register for JAMB this year, the first most important thing is to get your 2021 JAMB e-pin.

So in this article, we will give you a detailed guideline on how to get and pay for your JAMB 2021 e-pin.

What is JAMB e-pin?

Before any candidate can successfully carry out 2021 JAMB registration, they must first obtain the JAMB e-pin. With the e-pin, the whole registration process can be done within a short time and with no stress at all.

How to Obtain and Pay for JAMB e-pin 2021

Candidates can carry out JAMB their registration at any accredited CBT centre only after they have obtained the e-pin.

Go through the following guidelines carefully to obtain your e pin;

STEP I: Create a JAMB Profile and Get your Profile Code

The first step is to create a JAMB profile and obtain the profile code.

a. Send the following details (Last Name, First name and Middle name) to JAMB short code 55019 through SMS text message.

*Note that the names you send must not be more than 38 characters. Also, ensure you leave a space between each name making a total of 40 characters. For example Moses Haruna Teniola

b. JAMB will automatically send you a profile code to the same number so be sure you use your own phone number to send. The profile code is a 10 character code.

Important Note

Each candidate can only register with a single mobile number. This is for the following reasons

–         The phone number you use for registration will be automatically connected to your details and used to create your profile code.

–         It is the same phone number you provide that JAMB will use in communicating with you throughout the period of your registration and on issues relating to your JAMB 2021 registration and examination.

STEP II: Obtain your JAMB e-pin

After you have received your 10 character profile code, you may now proceed to obtain your e pin by following the steps below;

First Method

a. Visit any accredited procurement centre such as Banks to make payment and present your Profile code

b. Your e-pin will be sent to you via text message to the same phone number you used to receive the profile code.

c. You can then proceed to any accredited CBT centre and continue with your JAMB registration

Second Method:

To obtain your e-pin after you have received the profile code. Go through the following steps;

1. Log on to remita.net
2. Click the “Buy JAMB form”

1. Enter your phone number ( the same one you have been using where you received your profile code)
2. Fill in other details as required
3. Select your choice of payment and pay for your e-pin
4. Click Submit

You will receive a text message containing your e-pin and the pin will also be displayed on your Remita receipt.

Present your form e-pin at any JAMB accredited CBT centre for your registration.
