Hushpuppi Reportedly Tests Positive For COVID-19 In Prison
Arrested fraudster, Hushpuppi has reportedly tested positive to COVID-19 while in the correctional facility he’s been held in Chicago.
This information was disclosed by Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo who said an informant told her that the suspected fraudster tested positive to the virus but he’s asymptomatic.
“#BREAKING #Kemitalksinfo A source @FBILosAngeles told me Ramoni Olorunwa Abass reportedly tested #Covid19 +ve asymptomatic. Remember that it CAN’T be announced on US soil due to the HIPAA law. He is locked up at MCC Chicago, a #COVID19 ravaged federal prison🦠😷” she tweeted.
Hushpuppi is currently being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago, a prison where outbreak of the virus among inmates is among largest across the system.
Hushpuppi has made his first court appearance last week in Chicago, where it was announced that he risks being sentenced to jail for 20 years if found guilty. He is also expected to be transferred to Los Angeles this week.
