After been dethroned as the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido has said that he is a fulfilled man after spending six years on the throne.
While stating that he is happy leaving the throne as a fulfilled man, the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor dropped his message in Hausa to the people of Kano in a video that has gone viral.
”l am taking the dethronement in good faith. l am urging for calm as l take the dethronement in good faith.
“Everything that has a beginning and must definitely have an end. ”
With this development, he directed his family members and loyalists, whom he can have control over to pay homage to whosoever emerged as the new emir in order to preserve the dignity of the royal institution.
While stating that he has everything to thank the almighty Allah for making things happen the way they happened, he listed some of his achievements while emir for nearly six years and he said he was very much Happy that he followed the footstep of his grandfather the Sanusi I.
He, however, prayed for peace, progress and economic buoyancy of Kano and Nigeria. And finally, pray for a happy ending.
