“I Was Only Trying To Hug You” – Davido Tells Man Who Accused Him Of Assault (Video)
A Nigerian man who runs a blog, @9jaonthestreetz on Instagram recently called out Davido after the singer hit him on his chest while trying to take a selfie.
According to the man, he met Davido at Muritala Muhammad Airport on the 14th of February and tried to take a selfie with him.
To his ultimate surprise, Davido hit him on his chest. He soon made a video online to call out Davido saying that he respected him so much and didn’t understand why he would slap him on his chest.

In response to this, Davido claimed that he was trying to hug him but he moved away fast.
”I was trying to hug you bro but you moved away fast so it looked like I was slapping your chest…love you bro,” he wrote.
It looks like he has accepted the apology as he soon made a video saying he will always be a Davido’s fan even “if he breaks his head.”
