“I Would Never Defend His Actions” – Emma Nyra Apologizes For Her Hushpuppi’s Comment
Following her tweet blasting people happy over Hushpuppi’s arrest, Emma Nyra has now retracted her statement and apologized.
In the tweet she had made yesterday, the singer stated that rejoicing over Hushpuppy’s “downfall” would not increase the money in people’s pockets. She also insinuated that people are only happy about his arrest because he oppressed them with his wealth on social media.
She received backlash following the tweet and was labeled a fraud apologist.
In a new post, Emma Nyra apologized stating that she wasn’t trying to defend the suspected fraudster’s actions.
She wrote;
“I genuinely apologize if I offended anyone. I never meant to do that. I simply meant that I’m tired of reading about it. Justice will be served when it comes to his case and understand that I would never defend his actions at all. I actually never did.”
God bless you that’s exactly what I meant! I would never defend a fraudster 🙏🏾 https://t.co/62mI4CYkuv

The problem is that I was confused that the same people asking him for money and envying his lifestyle are now laughing. Fraud is wrong on all levels and should be punished accordingly. The problem to me is everyone looking for saviors and heroes on the internet. https://t.co/COfjby6qNv
