“I’m So Broken” – Funke Akindele Speaks Out After Arrest
Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has been arrested for violating the social distancing directive of the federal government by hosting a party in her home.
On the 4th of April, Funke Akindele’s husband, JJC Skillz clocked 43 and they had a birthday celebration in their home with many present.
The actress and the attendees were dragged on Twitter. Many called for them to be reprimanded and be stripped off her ambassadorship to Dettol and NCDC. However, Funke Akindele made a public apology explaining that everyone present at the party live in the estate and they’ve been on lockdown together.
Shortly after the apology, The Lagos State Police Command arrested her and announced that they are looking for others who attended the party.
It is also said that the case will be taken to court.
Funke Akindele broke her silence since her arrest this morning as she posted on Twitter that, “I just pray I survive this. I’m so broken.”
