Insecurity: Why Blame Security Chiefs And Not Buhari ?, Omokri Asks NASS

Reno Omokri,m a former media aide of the former president Goodluck Jonathan is wondering why the National Assembly leadership is blaming security chiefs for insecurity instead of President Muhamadu Buhari.
The House of Representatives had On January 29, passed a resolution calling on all of the military service chiefs to resign.
It further asked that if they failed to, the President should fire them. The uper chamber as well expressed the view that the service chiefs had to go.
The service chiefs were appointed by President Buhari in 2015 after he was first elected.
Under military regulations, their terms of service expired in 2017, but the President has kept them on.
The security chiefs include, Defense Chief, Abayomi Olonisakin, Chief of Army Staff,  Tukur Buratai, Navy Chief Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, and Air Chief Sadique Abubakar.
It is looking unlikely that President Buhari will move against the service chiefs because of the National Assembly.
Omokri wrote on his Twitter page: Dear @HouseNGR and @NGRSenate. Why do you blame the service chiefs for the insecurity, terror and turmoil all over Nigeria, yet absolve General @MBuhari
? It‘s like blaming the 40 thieves and absolving Ali Baba. Did you vote for the service chiefs? Blame the cook, not the server!”
