Jack Grealish Approves Manchester United Move

Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish has reportedly consented to a possible move to Manchester United in the summer. It is understood that the Old Trafford folks are yet to reach any agreement with Villa but the Englishman is interested in the move to Old Trafford.

Grealish is also said to have approved the outline of a deal, although, finals talks are yet to be concluded between both clubs.

The Villa skipper was not placed in the transfer picture in January as the club saw him key to their battle against relegation. However, he is widely expected to go look for greener pastures at the end of the campaign.

The 24-year-old is reportedly house hunting in Manchester in anticipation of a move to United with his wages expected to be significantly higher than the £100,000 he currently pockets at Villa Park.

His seven goals and five assists has been helpful for Villa this season, with one of those efforts coming in Villa’s draw against Manchester United.

United are now in front of the queue for Grealish with speculations surrounding Paul Pogba’s future still rife. United have reportedly conceded to losing him in the summer already. Although, it would still cost about £150m to prise him away with one year left on his contract and the Red devils holding the power to extend his contract by a further year.

United are prepared to make use of the proceedings from Pogba transfer to sign Grealish who fits seamlessly into the profile of the British grown talent they’ve been recruiting in recent months.

It is for the same reason that players like Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Daniel James have found their feet at Old Trafford.

Pogba is currently on the sidelines due to injury and is expected to return just in time to gain match fitness for the upcoming Euro 2020.
