Jennifer Atiku Abubakar – ‘we don’t want war’

– Jennifer Atiku Abubakar said Nigerians don’t want war as she urged women to resist every provocative antic

Jennifer Abubakar, wife to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar was in Delta state capital, Asaba yesterday.

During her trip to Asaba, Jennifer Abubakar met with women from the 25 local government areas of the state as she urged the women to stand their ground and resist every provocative antic that may have been put in place.

Jennifer Abubakar in her statement with the women said they will “try to derail us, they will try to make us afraid, they will try to confuse us. We should not be afraid. God is our guiding light, He will show us the way.

She also reacted to the suspension of the Cheif Judge of Nigeria CJN, Walter Onnoghen by the Federal Government.

The wife of the PDP presidential candidate went on to declared that Nigerians can’t afford to go war as she stressed that the country is about to fall apart.

She urged every Nigerian irrespective of tribe or religion to pray to God for the country.

We do not want a war, we can’t afford to go to war. We want to be together, I am crying to my Lord, we need to pray to God” she said.

She also urged the women to come out February 16 and vote, “We need to vote. Your vote is important, without your vote, we cannot go to the promised land. You need to bring out your children and your husbands, sisters, and relatives.”

Also in attendance at the event are: the wife of the Vice Presidential candidate, Mrs. Margaret Obi, wife of the Delta state Gov., Mrs. Edith Okowa and the wife of the PDP national chairman, Mrs. End Secondus.
