June 12: FFK applauds Pres. Buhari for having the Courage to do that whilst others failed

– Femi Fani Kayode has applauded Pres. Muhammadu Buhari for the courage to do that whilst other failed
– This comes after Pres. Muhammadu Buhar declared June 12 Democracy Day
According to earlier report by iDonsabi.com, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari some few days ago signed the Public Holiday Ammendment Bill to law, which confirmed that June 12 would be recognised as the new Nigerian Democracy Day.
Following this decision taken by Pres. Buhari,  former Min. for Aviation and lawyer, Femi Fani-Kayode has applauded the President for having the courage to do that whilst others failed.
Fani Kayode stressed that previous administrations have questions to answer on why they refused to honor late Chief MKO Abiola.
The former Minister for Aviation in his statement said, “One of the questions that previous govt’s have to answer is why they refused to honor Chief MKO Abiola and declare June 12th as the authentic Democracy Day? No matter what we may feel about Muhammadu Buhari at least he found the courage to do that whilst others failed.”
Femi Fani Kayode went on to say that declaring June 12 as Democracy Day in honor of MKO Abiola is not enough but that those who killed him be brought to justice.
He added that those who carried out the criminal act should be exposed and persecuted for murder, he said Nigeria will know peace when these are done.
Femi Fani Kayode said, ”The best way to honor MKO Abiola is not just to declare June 12th as Democracy Day but to also bring those that killed him to justice. They must be exposed and prosecuted for murder. It is only after that is done that the ghost of June 12th will die and Nigeria will know peace.”
