Lady Cries Out As Lagos Pharmacy Sells a Bottle Of Sanitizer For N19,950
Nigerian lady, Farida Ladipo-Ajayi has cried out on Twitter after a pharmacy in Gbagada, Lagos sold a bottle of hand sanitizer for N19,950.
Many have complained about the exorbitant increase in price of hand sanitizers and masks since the FG announced that a case of Coronavirus has been recorded in Nigeria.
Sanitizers and disposable face masks are safety measures against the virus and many vendors have inflated the price.
The lady only found out about the price after she was debited. She wrote on Twitter;
“Twitter fam, Medmark Pharmacy on Adekunle Osomo street soluyi Gbagada sold this to us at N19,950 for 500ml. Didn’t look at the bill, got back opened the product then got a debit alert. They insist that’s the price.”
