Latest COVID-19 Nigeria Update in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded 917 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

This has taken the number of cases recorded so far to be over 90,000.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) recorded the highest number of the day with 222 new cases, followed by the epicentre, Lagos State with 214 cases.

Others include Kaduna-119, Plateau-92, Nasarawa-50, Oyo-41, Adamawa-33, Ondo-32, Abia-28, Ogun-19, Rivers-17
Kano-16, Yobe-14, Edo-8, Anambra-6, Ekiti-5, while Jigawa has one.

Out of 90,080 confirmed cases, 75,044 patients have been discharged while
1,311 deaths have so far been recorded.

The recent discharges today includes 59 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
