Latest COVID-19 Update in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded 201 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control revealed that Lagos state, the epicenter of the dreaded virus has 77 cases while Rivers and Plateau have 37 and 25 respectively.

Other include FCT-13, Kaduna-12, Ogun-12, Adamawa-8, Taraba-7, Imo-4, Kwara-2, Osun-2, while Abia and Oyo have one case each.

“Our discharges today include 257 community recoveries in Imo State and 85 homecare discharges in Delta State managed in line with guidelines,” the NCDC stated on its website.

Out of 58,848 confirmed cases, 50,358 patients have been discharged while there are presently 1,112 deaths.
