Latest COVID-19 Update in Nigeria
Nigeria has recorded 1,633 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos State, the epicentre recorded 498 cases while Plateau recorded 214.
FCT also has 176 new cases, followed by Rivers with 99,
Others include Kaduna-98, Edo-87, Anambra-86, Akwa Ibom-50, Osun-47, Kano-40, Oyo-40, Kwara-39, Ebonyi-28, Niger-28, Taraba-28, Ogun-27, Ondo-21, Ekiti-12, Katsina-7, Borno-6, while Delta state has two cases.
Out od 120,602 confirmed cases, 95,901 patients have been discharged while there is presently 1,502 deaths from COVID-19 complications.

“Our discharges today includes 573 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDEC added.
