Nigeria has recorded 1,861 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria, Lagos state recorded 773 in the last 24 hours.

The latest discharges include 697 community recoveries in Lagos State, 128 in Rivers State and 116 in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines.
Currently Nigerian has recorded 126,160 confirmed cases, with 24,252 being active cases. 100,365 patients have bee discharged while the death rate is 1,543.
