Latest COVID-19 Update in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded eight COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.
This was revealed from the latest data revealed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). According to the government agency, 685 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours with the epicentre of the dreaded virus, Lagos recording 355.

Out of 131,242 confirmed cases, 104,989 patients have been discharged while there have been 1,586 deaths so far.

“Our discharges today include 901 community recoveries in Lagos State and 123 community recoveries in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC added.
