Latest COVID-19 Update in Nigeria

Nigeria has now recorded over 1,600 COVID-19 related death since first recording its first case a year ago.

According to an update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 676 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours with the epicentre, Lagos State having 227 new cases while Rivers has 73.

Nigeria now has 131,918 confirmed, out of which 106,275 patients have been discharged. The death toll now stands at 1,607.

The latest discharges include 776 community recoveries in Lagos State and 96 community recoveries in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines.
