Latest COVID-19 Update in Nigeria

Nigerian has recorded one of its lowest COVID-19 cases recently with just additional 506 new cases declared in the last 24 hours.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ondo State recorded 90 new cases. Kwara State followed with 89.

Out of 139,748 confirmed cases, 113,525 patients have been discharged while there is currently 1,667 COVID-19 related deaths as of February 8.

“Our discharges today include 360 community recoveries in Lagos State, 138 in Osun State, 121 in Plateau State, 89 in Imo State and 38 in Kano State managed in line with guidelines,” NCDC added.
