Chkwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University is also known as Anambra State University and is commonly known and referred to as COOU. The academic institution was established on the 1st of January, 2000 and is located in Uli, Anambra State.

COOU Admission
Candidates who score up to 170 in their UTME examination qualify for the COOU post UTME screening. Therefore such candidates may eventually be offered admission into the university provided they perform well in the COOU post UTME screening. Also, candidates are expected to hold at least five O’level credits.
