Kings University was established in the year 2015 by the Kings Ministries also commonly called Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC. The academic institution is located at Ode-omu, Osun State. The university was established in order to find solution to the problem of health care delivery in Osun state, Also, the university has a vision to help boost information technology in teaching and incorporate adequate entrepreneurial studies in its curriculum.
