1. You Don’t Need A WAEC Certificate To Become A President Or Governor In Nigeria, says Festus Keyamo.

According to the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, Festus Keyamo, it does not require a WAEC certificate to become the president or a governor in Nigeria.

The Director of Strategic Communications for President Buhari’s 2019 presidential campaign made this known via tweets on his official Twitter handle @fkeyamo on Monday.

2. CCT announces date for judgement in Onnoghen’s case.

The Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, on Monday announced Thursday, April 18, as the day to deliver judgment against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen, as regards the charge of false asset declaration.

The Chairman of the tribunal, Danladi Yakubu Umar made the announcement on Monday in Abuja.

3. “Life Is Hellish Under You” – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Calls Out Buhari And Osinbajo

The Nollywood star actress and celebrity ,Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde wrote on Twitter that Nigeria has been hellish under the care of President Buhari and VP Osinbajo.

She made the comment due to the continuous and recent killings going on in the country, especially the recent death tolls in Zamfara State.

The tweet reads: “The Country Under your watch is Hellish! @YOsibanjo @MBuhari @NGRPresident The lack of Money in circulation, Now coupled with the Continuous Assault n Killings by Uniformed men will make this Country implode!!!It is Unbearable! Do something!Insecurity!Fear n Desperation everywhere”

4. Austin Jay-Jay Okocha gets court arrest warrant over alleged tax evasion.

The former football star has been issued an arrest warrant by the Lagos state High Court, over an alleged tax fraud.

According to reports, Austin Okocha, the former Nigerian International evaded a tax payments two years ago. And now the government is forced to issue out an arrest warrant against him.

5. Zamfara lost over 4000 people in 500 bandits attacks – SSG

According to the secretary to the Zamfara state government, Professor Abdullahi Walin Shinkafi, the state had lost over 4000 people in 500 attacks from bandits.

In an exclusive interview in the office of the secretary with Legit.ng, he made the disclosure that at least 4000 people have been killed and more than 9000 injured in about 500 attacks.

He also made it known that the government of the state is doing all it can to put an end to this heinous activities as soon as possible.

6. PDP Challenges Buhari to Tender WAEC certificate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have challenged at President Muhammadu Buhari to present his West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate, before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

This was released in a statement by Kola Ologbondiyan, The Peoples Democratic Party National Publicity Secretary in Abuja on Monday. He challenged the president to do so and not allow Festus Keyamo, his campaign spokesperson, insult the sensibility of Nigerians.
