1. Pastors Have the Number to Shut Down Any Blogger – Apostle Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has stated an emphatic war on bloggers.

He made this known during Sunday’s church service, stating that a blogger posted something about God and it made him angry. Apostle Suleman boasted about the number of the members of his church and how they can take down any blog by simply reporting it.

He said that he is giving the blogger an untimatum of six hours to bring down the post or face the consequences.

2. Edo State Police Apprehends Four Suspected Boko Haram Members. 

The Edo State Police Command have apprehended four men, suspected to members of the dangerous Boko Haram insurgent group.

The Spokesperson of the Edo State police command, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor, disclosed this in a statement released to newsmen in Benin yesterday evening that was tagged: “Arrest of suspected Boko Haram members/armed robbers/kidnappers/cultists and recovery of arms and ammunition.”

DSP Nwabuzor identified the suspects to be members of a popular gang who are notorious for kidnapping, armed robbery and Boko Haram syndicates and have been terrorizing the Kogi and Edo States axis for a while now.

3. Lagos-Ibadan Rail to Be Ready in June – Amaechi. 

The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has assured all Nigerians that by early June, the rail transport system between Lagos and Ibadan would be ready for use.

Earlier this year, the Lagos-Abeokuta rail had been completed earlier and passengers were offered a three-month free ride. However, the free ride period was shortened, for security purposes.

4. Nigeria Needs A Parliamentary System of Government, says Fasanmi. 

Ninety three year old Ayo Fasanmi, leader of the pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, who is also a pharmacist, believes that the parliamentary system of government is the best system for Nigeria.

The pharmacist/politician and said this in an interview on Sunday. He also believes that made system is also the cheapest option for the country.

5. TV Host, Ebuka and Wife, Cynthia Welcome Second Child. 

The TV host for the popular Big Brother Show has welcomed a second child with his wife, Cynthia.

We are not sure when this happened as it was kept as private as possible.

However, suspicion was raised fans after Ebuka himself tweeted via his official handle @Ebuka, a quote by Michelle Obama.

“You think you’re a great parent until you have the second child.” Michelle Obama

This raised attentions from fans, and a curious fan replied with “congratulations in order?”

Ebuka responded by saying , saying “Yes, for a few weeks now.”

6. Minimum Wage: Wike Promises to Pay Whatever FG Approves. 

Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state has promised to obey the tenets of the new minimum wage law that was recently signed and approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He made this known through Emma Okah, the Commissioner for Information and Communications of the state.

The Governor who had previously declared that his government will be the first to pay whatever was finally agreed to be the new minimum wage.

7. Nigerian Actor, Jim Iyke Welcomes Second Son. 

The popular actor took to Instagram today to announce the delivery of his boy as he couldn’t help but express his joy.

He accompanied it with a the picture of his son and a lengthy caption that reads as follow:

“I’m ultra-private with my family. But this is the rarest of moments. Back to 2 hrs sleep nightly. Back to cat naps with my sub conscious peaked for the slightest movement. Back to groggy mornings and big unknowing smiles.

“Welcome home King. I can’t find the right words now. Every being in me is pulsating with raw primordial energy. Lion beget a Lion. Welcome to my Pride, dear son. Thank you for choosing me to be your Papa.

8. Aisha Buhari Reveals Plan to Establish Varsity in Husband’s Name. 

Wife of the president, Aisha Buhari had declared her plans to establish a university that will be named after her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.

She made it known that the university, which would be a private university to be called “Muhammadu Buhari University”.

Mrs Aisha Buhari disclosed this on Saturday during a town hall meeting organized by her in collaboration with indigenes of Yola, capital of Adamawa state.

Although she didn’t explain when the building will commence, she revelead that the university would be a collaboration with partners from Sudan and Qatar.
