Kano Emirate Had N1,89bn When I became Emir Not N3.4 Billion, Sanusi Replies Ganduje’s Query

After settling their differences, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has hot a reply from the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, on the query issued him by the Kano State Government over alleged misappropriation of N3.4 billion.

Sanusi replied in a one-page letter with reference number KEC/CF/FIN/1/162, dated June 7, 2019, signed by the Acting Secretary to the Kano Emirate Council, Alhaji Abba Yusuf titled “Re-Report of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti–Corruption Commission” addressed to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG). READ MORE HERE.

Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has stated that the availability of consumer credit facility is an important option in fighting corruption in the country.

Speaking at on Saturday in Lagos at a consultative roundtable titled, “Going for Growth” with some economic stakeholders, the President of the Dangote Group said that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and commercial banks need to develop consumer credit products that will encourage low-income earners to engage in loan taking. READ MORE HERE.
