Daar Communication: Court Rules Against NBC Over Suspension of Licence

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has nullified the suspension of the operating license of Daar Communications PLC, operator of AIT, Faaji FM and Ray Power.

Former education minister, Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to the shut down of DAAR Communications by NBC.

The co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) advocacy group pointed that in true leadership, citizens are left to exercise their freedom to love the leader or not to love the leader, adding that there is nothing in the letter issued by NBC to DAAR Communications that reaches the threshold for withdrawal of license and shut down of the media house. Kwara and Abia Governors make First Appointments

 Kwara and Abia State Governors, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and Okezie Ikpeazu have made their first appointments.

Governor Abdulrazak appointed Aminu Adisa Logun as Chief of Staff  (CoS), Mamman Saba Jibril as Secretary to the State Government  (SSG) and Rafiu Ajakaye as Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

In the statement released by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary Agboola Olarewaju, he revealed the names of the new appointees as Aminu Adisa Logun as CoS, Mamman Saba Jibril as SSG and Rafiu Ajakaye as CPS.

On his part, Ikpeazu appointed Justice Uche Ihediwa as the new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice while Eyinnaya Apollos, who served as Chief press secretary returned as the special adviser to the governor on media. READ MORE HERE.

Judge Slaps RCCG Pastor Over Noise Pollution

All hell went lose at Redeemed Christian Church of God, the Glory Tabernacle parish, at Ijapo Estate in Akure, Ondo State, when a presiding judge of the Court of Appeal, Justice Oyebisi Folayemi Omoyele confronted the church over its noisy religious activities.
