Presidency Orders Clearance of Apapa Gridlock Within Two Weeks
The Presidency has ordered immediate clearance of the Apapa gridlock and the restoration of law and order to Apapa and its environs within two weeks.
The Presidency also directed trucks and tankers operators to vacate the Port Access Roads within the next 72 hours.
Macron invites Buhari to Africa-France Summit
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron has invited President Muhammadu Buhari to the Africa-France Summit scheduled for June 2020 in Bordeaux.
This was revealed by Secretary General, Africa-France Summit, Stephanie Rivoal, when she visited the Minister of Foreign Affairs,Geoffrey Onyeama, on Tuesday in Abuja.
BRT Catches Fire on Third Mainland Bridge Over Electrical Fault
A Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) caught fire on third mainland bridge Wednesday morning, leaving no record of death or casualty due to an electrical fault.
The incident left passengers, whose majority were workers of different companies in Lagos Island stranded for a while before getting an alternative to resume their work duties.

The magistrate will hear the case again on June 10. Johnson was hit by a stray bullet in Iyana Ipaja, which allegedly was from the gun of Ogunyemi, a dismissed police officer.
