The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture was originally referred to as the Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike. It was founded in the year 1992 and is, therefore, a relatively old university. Also, The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture is one of the few specialized federal Universities in Nigeria.

MOUAU Admission

The UTME cut off mark Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State is 180. This means candidates who score at least 180 in their UTME qualify to participate in the post UTME screening of MOUAU and be considered for admission.

In addition to this, all UTME candidates are expected to possess at least five O’Level credits including Mathematics and English.

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State School Fees

The school fees for newly admitted MOUAU students is about 53, 000 naira. Also, candidates who have just been offered admission into the institution have to pay an acceptance fees of about N30, 000.

Also, students can choose to pay for accommodation if they wish. The hostel accommodation fees is N50, 000 for new hostel and N10, 000 for old hostel.

Note that this was the school fees schedule released for 2018/2019 academic session as that of 2019/2020 is yet to be released.
