President Buhari Appoints New Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria

On Tuesday, 20th of November, the Senate received a letter from President Muhammad Buhari   announcing the appointment of a new justice for the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The letter was said to have contained details including the fact that the Presidency made the appointment acting on the advice of the National Judicial Council.

Armed Robbers Sentenced to Death by Hanging In Abeokuta

Two men have been sentenced to death by handing after all evidence tendered has proven to find them guilty of conspiracy and armed robbery. The two men, Agbaraojo Abolore, 39 and Adeniyi Dada, 32 were sentenced to death by hanging by Justice Olatokunbo Majekodunmi at the Abeokuta High court on Thursday.

Suspected Boko Haram Gunmen Kill Eight at French Drilling Camp in Niger

It has been revealed that eight local employees of a French Drilling camp at Niger has been killed by suspected Boko haram members. The unfortunate incident happened on Thursday when the suspected killers invaded the employees’ sleeping area in the Diffa region, south eastern Niger.
