Latest Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded three more deaths from COVID-19 complications in the last 24 hours as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) 501 new cases.

According to the government agency, Lagos state, the epicentre of the dreaded virus has 218 new cases while FCT has 112.

Others include Kaduna-53, Plateau-24, Katsina-21, Kano-16, Yobe-14, Ondo-10, Ogun-9, Edo-7, Bayelsa-5, Rivers-4, Borno-4, while Osun and Ekiti state have two cases each.

Out of 78,434 confirmed cases, 68,303 patients have been discharged while the death toll is 1,221.
