Latest Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded 829 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos the epicentre has another 296 cases while FCT has 291.

Others include Kaduna-79, Rivers-40, Kano-35, Nasarawa-25, Bauchi-19, Benue-8, Borno-7, Edo-7, Oyo-7, Sokoto-7, Cross River-3, while Jigawa and Ogun States have two cases each.

Out of 83,576 confirmed cases, 70,495 patients have been discharged while the death toll is now 1,247.

The latest discharges include 113 community recoveries in Lagos State and 92 community recoveries in Kaduna State managed in line with guidelines.
