Latest Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded 397 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos State has 144 cases, followed by Plateau with 83.

Others include Kaduna-48, Adamawa-36, Rivers-22, Oyo-16, Kebbi-10, Nasarawa-7, Sokoto-7, FCT-5, Kano-5, Edo-4, Jigawa-3, Ogun-2, Akwa Ibom-2, while Niger, Bauchi, and Zamfara have one case each.

Out of 84,811 confirmed cases, 71,357 patients have been discharged with 1,264 deaths recorded so far.

The discharges in the last 24 hours include 152 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
