Latest Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded 1031 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos State, the epicenter of the dreaded virus has 570 cases while the nation’s capital, Abuja has 117 cases.

Others include Kaduna-109, Nasarawa-34, Bauchi-31, Kano-28, Plateau-26, Sokoto-26, Ogun-25, Edo-18, Rivers-16, Abia-10, Imo-7, Taraba-6, while Delta and Osun states have four cases each.

Out of 87,510 confirmed cases, 73,713 patients have been discharged while there have been 1,289 deaths so far.

The latest discharges include 53 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
