Latest Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

Nigeria has recorded 1074 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the epicentre of the dreaded virus, Lagos State has 642 new cases while Kaduna State has 92.

Others include Rivers-78, FCT-66, Gombe-66, Kano-35, Ogun-31, Katsina-22, Plateau-20, Abia-7, Niger-4, Oyo-4, Akwa Ibom-3, while Delta and Osun states have two each.

Out of 88,587 confirmed cases, 74,373 patients have been discharged. The current death toll is 1,294.

The latest discharges include 459 community recoveries in Lagos State and 156 community recoveries in Katsina State managed in line with guidelines.
