Latest Update on COVID-19 in Nigeria

  • Till date, 55,005 cases have been confirmed, 43,013 cases have been discharged and 1,057 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
  • A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities

Nigeria has recorded 100 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)N revealed that Lagos, the epicenter of the dreaded virus has 39 new cases, followed by FCT with 22 and Kaduna with 19. Others are Oyo-7, Ebonyi-6, Edo-3, while Katsina, Ekiti, Bauchi, and Nasarawa states have one case each.
