Latest Update on COVID-19 Nigeria

  • Till date, 47743 cases have been confirmed, 33943 cases have been discharged and 956 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
  • A multi-sectoral national emergency operations center (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities

Nigeria has recorded 453 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.

This brings to a total of 47,743 confirmed cases recorded in Nigeria so far.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control revealed that Lagos, the epicenter has 113 new cases, followed by FCT with 72.

Others include Plateau-59, Enugu-55, Kaduna-38, Ondo-32, Osun-26, Ebonyi-20, Ogun-9, Delta-8, Borno-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Oyo-5, while  Bauchi, Kano, and Ekiti have one case each.
