Lawan Appoints Adeyeye As Senate’s Spokesman

  • The panel is to interact with the media and members of the public pending the constitution of the standing committees for the ninth Senate.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan has appointed the lawmaker representing Ekiti South Senatorial District, Senator Dayo Adeyeye as Chairman, Senate ad-hoc Committee on Media and Public Affairs.

It could be recalled that Adeye is the erstwhile National Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and got elected.

Other members of the ad hoc panel named by Lawan are Senators Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, Uba Sani, Abba Moro, Betty Apiafi and Ifeanyi Uba.

The National Assembly leader said the panel has been saddled with the responsibility of interacting with the media and members of the public pending the constitution of the standing committees for the ninth Senate.
