Lawan Retains Saraki’s Former Aides

  • Lawan reappoints Saraki former aides.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan has appointed five former aides of his predecessor, Senator Bukola Saraki.

The appointments letter with reference number, NASS/9u./s/SP/APP/A/01 and dated 19th June 2019 were contained in a letter to the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori.

The letter signed by Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Babagana Muhammad Aji, Dr. Betty Okoroh as Special Assistant on Administration and Mohammed Isa as his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity.

Others appointed are Special Assistant on New Media, Olu Onemola; Senior Legislative Aide on Publicity (Photographer), Tope Brown Olowoyeye; and, Senior Legislative Aide on Schedules and Events, Ogechukwu Nwankwoh.

The letter directed the Clerk to issue their letters of appointment accordingly.

“They are needed by the Senate President in executing his planned legislative agenda.”

Aji is the present Administrative Coordinator of National Health Insurance Scheme Outreach Services.

He holds a Master Degree in Educational Planning and Administration, and another one in Public Administration, both from the University of Maiduguri.

Adedayo, is a Phd holder on Political Communication from University of Ibadan, and a member of Editorial Board of Tribune newspapers.
