Lawmaker’s daughter sacked for working with fake certificates

Daughter, Deborah Agbonayinm of a federal lawmaker and Pension Ad Hoc Committee Chairman, Ehionzuwa Johnson Agbonayinma has been sacked by PenCom for working with a fake certificate.

According to reports, Deborah Agbonayinma was sacked some weeks ago after working with the commission for three years. Before joining PenCom, Deborah had also worked at different government agencies with the fake certificate.

iDONSABI.com reliably gathered that the CV Deborah presented during her employment stated that she graduated in 2012 with a B.Sc in Accountancy with certificate number 12129 from Irish University Business School, London.

However, the verification committee at PenCom found that no such university existed as a valid UK degree-awarding institution.

Report had it that upon learning that her UK certfifcate was fake, she presented another Accountancy degree certificate from Olabisi Onabanjo University which upon investigation was found to be fake too.

The report read:

The Olabisi Olabanjo University (OOU), in Ogun State, in a letter dated February 6, 2019 and signed by the University’s Principal Assistant Registrar in charge of Exams and Records, Mrs O. L. Kaka, told PenCom that Miss Agbonayinma’s academic records and transcripts were fake.

PenCom said:

We confirmed through the UK government’s site that the university is not recognised as a valid degree-awarding body.
