Lionel Messi Marks 700th Barcelona Appearance With A Goal And Two Assists

Lionel Messi marked his 700th appearance for Barcelona in stunning fashion as he bagged a goal and two assists for his side against Dortmund in their UEFA Champions League group F clash.

The Barcelona talisman was as influential as ever, helping his side to a 3-1 win over their German counterparts.

The duo of Luis Suarez and Messi who have long enjoyed a strike partnership Chemistry score just within seven minutes of each other to put Barcelona 2-0 up before the interval. Antoinne Griezmann then made it three midway through the second forty-five minutes.

Attempting to save Dortmund from their embarrassing defeat, substitute Jadon Sancho pulled one back in style, reducing the deficit to two goals.

There have been rumours since the French man arrived at the Camp Nou that the duo of Griezmann and Messi do not enjoy a good relationship.

Although Griezmann dismissed this speculation, he admitted that he and the Argentina International do not speak very much as they are both naturally reserved persons.
