Little Boy Electrocuted in Niger State [Graphic Images]

Residents of Maikunkele community in Bosso Local Government area of Niger State were left in a state of mourning when a young boy was electrocuted on Thursday.

According to reports, the deceased identified as Muhammad Arafat – was electrocuted to death after he walked into a transformer that was left wide open in the area.

The incident caused lament in the area as residents and sympathizers gathered at the scene to mourn where the boy passed away.

Community leaders, parents, and stakeholders have been urged to ensure that transformers situated in areas are fenced and locked to guide against such unfortunate occurrences from happening again.
