Lockdown Ease: Customers Break The Door While Struggling To Gain Access Into A Bank in Lagos

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari during his last national broadcast on the 28th of April announced that the COVID-19 lockdown would be eased starting today, May 4 so that people can move within their states.

Today marks the first day of Lockdown ease and several videos have surfaced online showing how a lot of people who moved out practiced zero social distancing.

From fully loaded bus, to overwhelming traffic and struggles at the bank.

Some customers in a bank in Ogba, Lagos broke the door while struggling to enter into the banking hall.

Another video showed a man collapse after becoming breathless while using the ATM in Oniparun, Lagos.

In Access Bank, Ikotun, many customers were seen struggling their way into the bank while the security guards tried to keep them in order.
