Manchester United Consider Move For Chelsea Flop, Bakayoko

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea flop, Tiemoue Bakayoko after making enquiries about the French midfielder, according to RMC.

The 24 year old who joined Chelsea in 2017 came in as a direct replacement for Nemanja Matic but failed to impress at the middle of the park for London club, Chelsea.

Bakayoko struggled badly under Antonio Conte at the Stamford Bridge before being shipped out on loan to Serie A side, AC Milan by now Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri.

Bakayoko is currently with the rest of the Blues  for their pre-season training in Ireland and like the rest loanee would be given a fresh start to impress under the stead of new boss, Frank Lampard who is looking to exploit his options on loan due to the FIFA transfer ban slapped on Chelsea.

Accoridng to the report by RMC, former Derby manager and Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard will run the rule over Bakayoko during Chelsea’s tour to decide whether or not he fits into his plans for the upcoming season.

Norwegian gaffer and Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the lookout for a new central midfielder to replace a troubled Pogba repeatedly linked to a move to Juventus or Real Madrid all summer.

The French midfielder’s agent, Mino Raiola admitted that the World Cup winner was unhappy at Old Trafford and wants to leave the club amidst interest from the duo of Juventus and Real Madrid.

“Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that,” Raiola said.

Yet, Pogba did make the trip for United’s pre-season tour of Australia, Singapore and China.

Bakayoko made a total of 31 appearances for Serie A giants, AC Milan last term, finding the net once and providing a further assist as the club finished 5th on the league standings.
